The first picture has surfaced from the new Marvel movie "Thor", the 2011 installement in the Avengers series. For the past couple of years, Marvel has released their new movie in May, but next year there will be two! Thor in May and Captain America in July. Should be fun!!

Miranda Cosgrove "Sparks Fly" Review

DC Dude here with a review of Miranda Cosgrove's debut album, "Sparks Fly". I was a little nervous about buying her CD. I didn't really like her single "Kissin U" and she looks really different from when we see her on Nick. But I went to Best Buy and got the deluxe edition of the CD because it had four extra songs on it for only a couple dollars more.
I listened to the CD on Monday on AOL's Listening Party (where you can listen to all the songs before it comes out and make sure you like it). I really liked it. I was still unsure because sometimes you like a song when you first hear it then you don't. But not these songs! There are so many different sounds on this album. Some fun dance songs, slower songs with some ballad lyrics, and some awesome laid-back songs that are fun to sing at the top of your lungs! Here is my song by song review:

1. Kissin U: 6.5/10 Not a favorite but still a good album opener. The lyrics are nice and the song has a good story.
2. BAM: 9/10 The first of a couple fun dance songs. Has a good beat and has a good balance between funness and good lyrics.
3. Disgusting: 10.5/10 When I first heard this song I thought "I've heard this before..." This is a Ke$ha song but covered my Miranda. The sound of it really fits her and my favorite song of the moment. I definitely like this version better than Ke$sha's.
4. Shakespeare: 9/10 I LOVE songs with a story to them. This one follows our main girl as she meets a new guy and before they get too far into the relationship she asks if he "Likes Shakespeare, Jeff Buckley, watching movies on Sunday, kissin when it's rainin, makin faces in the station". A really fun pre-relationship songs with lyrics that are easy to remember.
5. Hey You 7/10 After four fast/upbeat songs, this slow song came unexpected. I sometimes skip it but its a good song.
6. There Will Be Tears 100/10 My favorite song on the whole CD. Reminds me a little bit of "Potential Breakup Song" but different. Has a great lyric that says, "there will be tears, but they're not gonna be mine"
7. Oh Oh 9.5/10 The second great dance/fast song on the CD. A different sound from the earlier songs on the album and it's really good!
8. Daybream 9.5/10 If you got the normal edition of the CD, this is the last song. It is a good closer and has great lyrics. A little angry but it works really well with the song.
9. Brand New You 10/10 Love this song! This one reminds me of "Delete You" by Ashley Tisdale except this one is like Replace You. The chorus of this song is really fun too.
10. What Are You Waiting For? 10/10 Some of the songs on this CD are bittersweet lonve songs, and this one is the best one out of all of them. She loves him, but he isn't loving back, but she know they could be so much more.
11. Adored 11/10 My favorite extra song on the album. You hear the title and think it'll be slow and sweet...but it is fast and rockin'! I love the ballad lyrics with the faster music.
12. Beautiful Mess 10/10 Another bittersweet song. Sometimes it seems wrong to like all the sad songs, especially this one. It's sad but really powerful.

Sometimes, the extra songs on a CD are the ones that got kicked aside after recording. But all these are AMAZING! So, go to Best Buy before the end of the week and get the Miranda Cosgrove CD with all the extra stuff on it! You will not be disappointed!

I Kissed a Vampire

Last fall, Lucas Grabeel, Drew Seeley, and Adrian Slade debuted "I Kissed a Vampire" on iTunes. It's a quirky take on the recent vampire craze, and this is the first big musical production during this time of sprakly vamps and golden eyes.
I really like this series. I've seen some of the music videos and seen some of the behind-the-scenes stuff and it looks really cool. They made a season of it and have released all the episodes on iTunes and this summer, a full-length two hour movie is premiering at the Seattle Film Festival!
The poster is super cool, the actors are super amazing, and the movie is probably going to be AWESOME!

Allstar Weekend!

Allstar Weekend has been getting a lot of attention lately! Their new single, "A Different Side of Me", was on Radio Disney Jams 12 and they are signed with Hollywood Records after NOT winning Radio Disney's N.B.T. a couple of years ago. I think it's cool that they got to be on N.B.T. but they didn't win and are getting WAY more attention than the real winners, Jonnie and Brookie. Good for them and all...but I don't think it's very fair.
Anyways, here is the official art for their debut album "Suddenly", hitting stores this summer on June 22nd!

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam Premire Date, Tour, Soundtrack, And More!

Hey what goes on! It's Matt! Yet again we have some more Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam News. The movie will officially premiere September 3rd, 2010! yes it's a while but the soundtrack will release July 27th, 2010 along with the summer tour for the movie which will start the same day!

1. Summer Tour: Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and the rest of the cast of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam will be hitting the road this summer on a worldwide tour. The large group will be hitting up three different continents and the fun starts on July 27 in Dallas, Texas.
   


2. The Soundtrack: As the tour kicks off in Dallas on July 27, the music stores worldwide will also begin selling the 15 track soundtrack. The diverse soundtrack will sample styles ranging from hip-hop, pop/rock, to rock.

   Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam Premiere Date: Friday, September 3 at 8:00pm ET/PT on Disney Channel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam will premiere to millions of viewers worldwide.

Cool right! Here is more for the plot.

The gang is back at Camp Rock for another fun-filled, rocking summer of jam sessions and late-night bonding. Mitchie (Demi Lovato) is back and awaits the arrival of her superstar fling Shane (Joe Jonas) who just returned home with his band Connect 3 after another world tour. Returning with Shane for another rocking summer are his brothers Nate (Nick Jonas) and the always goofy and cute Jason (Kevin Jonas).

Just across the lake, however, sits Camp Star, run by Axel (Daniel Kash), who used to be in a band with Brown and holds a big grudge against his old friend. In fact, Camp Star boasts state-of-the-art equipment and slick quarters, and when Axel starts snagging several of Brown's best counselors, Camp Rock finds itself on the verge of extinction. Fortunately, Mitchie has a plan -- a plan to both keep Camp Rock open and to defeat Camp Star in a summer's-end Final Jam showdown.

Road to Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam Shane And Mitchie

Camp Rock 2: "Can't Back Down"

Tomorrow is a huge day for Camo Rock 2!! The first music video from the movie will premiere during Good Luck Charlie tomorrow night on Disney Channel. If you have a Tivo, make sure to set it to record a little bit longer (and I'll be fine...haha) just in case.
The song features Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner, and Anna Maria Perez De Tagle. I can't wait!!! Radio Disney is going to play it as well so I'm hoping it's going to be on iTunes pretty soon too!

Teen Entertainment Music Mania New Album Exclusive

Hey it's Matt! I just began putting a new album in works for Teen Entertainment Music Mania here at TE! It's called "The Start." I'm putting all of the artist that really work hard to be were they are now on this album. I call it "The Start" because it will feature all your favorite artist's songs they first released or songs that got them were they are now. Like for example if I put Selena Gomez on the album most likely I would put Naturally, Falling Down, or Tell Me Something I Don't Know on it because those three songs were successful for her and they are one of the reasons why she is a famous artist. The album will have all the songs of the start of their career's. The album is being planned for a May or summer release. This is just an exclusive I'm giving you. And here is more exclusive. Teen Entertainment Mania 7 is coming soon. Tommy's making it. Also (I'm getting a little of topic) I have big plans for summer on TE. I want your request for the album. I have a few artist and songs but I didn't put the track listing up yet because I have only a few songs that are confirmed (or at least alittle confirmed). Nothings really confirmed yet. I'm talking just jotting down some ideas with a purple marker not confirmed yet (LOL!). Well anyway I did mka esoom possible covers.

I don't even know if the name, "The Start," is confirmed yet. I'm still debating the name. But for now I really want your opinions. Please comment to this post with any artist request, song request, title request, anything you want to request or suggest. You could even make a suggest about the cover! You may not even hear about this album again until next month. This was all just a sneak peek of it. So don't get too excited!

Camp Rock 2 Stills, New Teaser Trailer, and News!

Hey it's Matt! The first thing about Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam that I'm gonna show you are these really cool and new stills from the movie. They are in the video. It also shows Demi's picture from her guest appearance on Grey's Anatomy. Enjoy!



Next I want to tell you that a CR2 music video will premiere Sunday! I didn't see any previews for it on Disney Channel but I did see a preview for it on YouTube. But the quality was horrible and you could barely hear a word so a decided to just tell you about it. The music video will be the song, "It's Not Too Late" by Caitlyn and Ella (Alyson Stoner and Anna Maria Perez de Taglé). We heard about 30 seconds of this song during the 2nd Road to Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam.

And lastlyhere is a new international teaser trailer for CR2: The Final Jam. I think the full trailer premiering during Beauty and the Briefcase was rumored but luckily I found this. Enjoy!

JONAS Season 2 Sneak Peeks!

Hey guys it’s Matt! A few days ago I was watching ET and I saw these really awesome sneak peeks for season 2 of JONAS! So I looked for the video to post on YouTube to post on Teen Entertainment. And I found two! One of them is telling about the new season. The other is about the Jonas Brothers filming their new music video for a new song for the series, L.A. Baby. I’m really excited for this season because I think Joe and Stella and Nick and Macy finally become couples! They are even bringing Kevin’s wife, Danielle, into the series! So Kevin will be married in season 2! I’m so excited!

What's The Teen Word: Are Silly Bandz The New Trend?!

Hey guys, it's Matt! This is the third What's the Teen Word on Teen Entertainment. The topic is... Are Silly Bandz The New Trend?! Silly Bandz are these really coll breacelets for boys and girls that turn into shapes when you take them off! They are very popular. Almost everyone at my school are wearing and collecting them! I just heard of them last month. I have a few of my own. A bout at least 150. You can get them from Animals, to Pets, to Sea Creatures, to regular shapes! In the picture above they show the sea creature ones. But you can get ones shaped like a pretzel, a sandwich, sunglasses, and even a dog bone! They never get bent out of shape! So the question is are these the new trend. If everyone is wearing them, trading them, collecting them and all the other things you can do with them, then don't you think most likely they are the new trend? I think so. But how long will they last? Maybe they will just last until the end of summer, or until the end of this year, or myabe the trend will even go into 2011! WE don't know. You would think that when you first hear about these that they are maybe stupid or whatever. But they actually became very popular! These Silly Bandz are actually really cool. I suggest you get some. "Acting Identified" Sneak Peek: Mixes!!

Here are the mixes that I made for "Acting Identified"! Hope you all like them. They will be featured on the album which is coming out tomorrow!

The first is "Hook It Up" by Vanessa. This song was already amazingly mixed in the first place so I just did some minor changes that I like.

The second is "Overrated" by Ashley. This song is one of the best on Ashley's CD "Guilty Pleasure". A lot of her songs have lyrics for a ballad but are song faster and more upbeat. So for this one I just slowed it down and made the bass a little bit bigger.

Hey guys! Ya know the Teen Entertainment Go Green to help thing? Wel the results are in! for each hit each button got 10 cents was collected. And then I got a few donations from some friends. And the total is...

$18.55!

I'm very happy about how much money we made! I want to thank all the viewers that participated and pushed a Go Green Button! I also want to thank all of my friend and family who donated money to this cause! The money is being donated to a Boy Scouts Troop who are taking their tiome to go on a two week trip somewhere to help the earth 24/7 all through that period of time! And me and Tommy are going with them to help! We will use the money on things that we can use to help the earth. They raised about 200 dollars from all the work they did to get donations and earn money just to help save the earth! Let's hear it for those Boy Scouts!

"Hook It Up" Remix Cover

DC Dude here with the cover art for my remix of "Hook It Up" by Vanessa Hudgens. I really like this song and so I'm in the process of remixing it. The song is already amazingly mixed so there wasn't much I could really do to it. But the changes that I made I really like. I'm almost done with it and then it will be going on the "Acting Identified" collection.

Acting Identified

Here is the final and official cover for the first Teen Entertainment Music Mania "Acting Identified". It will have the best of both Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens' two CDs. I haven't finalized the songs for it yet but I'm thinking 3-5 per CD. I also want to make a remix from each artist and put it on the collection. So, it may be a while, hopefully a week or less! Ashley & Vanessa: Acting Identified

I recently got Vanessa Hudgens' sophomore album "Identified", and it is really really good. So I thought, why not make something with the girls of HSM and their best songs from their two album's? So here it is, "Ashley & Vanessa: Acting Identified". The title is a combo of the songs "Acting Out" and "Identified". I might try and make a new cover because I don't know if I like this one yet. I'll post the tracklisting and link to download it later this week!
