David Archuleta Dropped from Record Label

Hey everyone! This is Samuel (My First post!) here with some sad news for David Archuleta fans. According to his former record label, Jive Records, David has sadly been dropped from the roster of artists that is included in their lineup. The drop seems to be due to his sophomore album, "The Other Side of Down" selling only 63,000 copies to date, while his self-titled debut album has sold over a million copies and has been certified platinum.

For those of you who don't know, David Archuleta was the runner-up in season 7 of American Idol, losing to David Cook. This is sad news, but I'm sure he'll bounce back quickly.

Disney Channel Original Series, Madison High

Hey guys! It's Matt and here is some news on the all new Disney Channel musical comedy, Madison High! It sounds very intresting.

The series pilot introduces a troupe of theater students led by the melodramatic drama teacher Ms. Darbus, a beloved character from the cultural sensation “High School Musical.” Production on the pilot begins in March in consideration for a Disney Channel series to premiere in early 2012.

At Madison High, the students embark on a journey of self discovery while trying to build a revolutionary theatre program under the tutelage of Ms. Darbus. She casts a diverse troupe of both seasoned and raw actors to create an original musical production based on their lives.

15-year-old Luke Benward has the lead role of Devin Daniels, a motocross racer looking for a new hobby. The native of Nashville, Tennessee is the son of an actress and a musician, and since age 5 has appeared in commercials, music videos and movies, including the Disney Channel Original Movie “Minutemen,” “How to Eat Fried Worms,” “Doggone,” “Because of Winn-Dixie,” “Mostly Ghostly,” “Dear John” and “We Were Soldiers.”

14-year-old singer Leah Lewis has landed her first leading role as Peyton Hall, a formerly home-schooled tennis champion. Born in China and raised in Orlando, Florida, Lewis has appeared in national commercials for Kraft Cheese, Home Depot and Natures Own Bread, as well as an international commercial for Disneyland Hong Kong.

12-year-old G Hannelius is set to play Wednesday Malone, a precocious starlet in the making. The native of Boston, Massachusetts began her acting career at the age of 8 at the Children’s Theater of Maine. A familiar face on Disney Channel, she starred in the short form series “Leo Little’s Big Show” and “Den Brother,” and has appeared on “Sonny With A Chance,” “Good Luck Charlie,” “Hannah Montana” and Disney XD’s “I’m in the Band.” Her other television credits include a series regular role on ABC’s “Surviving Suburbia.”

Alyson Reed stars as drama teacher Ms. Darbus, the role she originated in “High School Musical,” followed by its sequel and feature film. The Tony Award-nominated actress starred on Broadway in “Dancin’,” “Dance a Little Closer,” “Cabaret,” “A Grand Night for Singing” and “Marilyn: An American Fable.” She can also be seen as Cassie in Richard Attenborough’s film adaptation of “A Chorus Line,” as well as multiple television guest starring roles.

Casting will be announced soon for these characters: Cherry O’Keefe -- Madison High’s resident queen bee and blogger; Harvey Flynn -- the overly officious stage manager and reigning president of the Drama Club; and Colby Baker -- the artistic anime fan whose hand-drawn Manga is inspired by his high school experiences.

So this is intresting. Mrs. Darbus has moved from East High to Madison High! I think this show is going to be awesome! I'm excited and I'm also very happy that G Hannelius will finally be apart of the Disney family! So I can't wait for this High School Musical like series, can you?

Thor Official Trailer # 2

Hey superhero fans!
Finally, here is another great trailer. Thor Trailer 2! I hope you Enjoy!

My opinion on it, is that I think the CGI isn;t great and it looks a bit mroe cartoon then live action,, but I really think this movie will be funny and cool. Maybe a little low on the action side and special effects, but this may do as well as Iron Man.

-Thanks TommyTE!

The Suite Life Movie Details!

Hey guys it's Matt with news on The Suite Life Movie premiering March 25th, 2011! I'm so excited! Here are details from DisneyChannelMedianet!

Television's popular teen twins Zack and Cody, the longest running continuous characters on Disney Channel, are at the center of the comedy and adventure in the third iteration of their powerhouse "Suite Life" franchise, "The Suite Life Movie," premiering FRIDAY, MARCH 25 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) as part of the hugely successful Disney Channel Original Movie franchise. Reprising their series roles are Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse, who also executive-produce the movie, Brenda Song (of the Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award-nominated film "The Social Network"), Debby Ryan, Matthew Timmons and Phill Lewis.

Filmed on location in Vancouver, Canada, the comedy adventure movie takes place during spring break as Cody gets an opportunity to participate in a prestigious internship program. However, when twin brother Zack destroys billion-dollar scientific equipment, Cody is kicked out of the program. Soon thereafter, the brothers are approached to join the Gemini Project, a high-tech research center studying the dynamics between twins. Shockingly, they find themselves interconnected in a way they've never been before: When one twin experiences a sensation, thought or feeling, the other twin feels it too. While this newfound revelation helps the boys see eye to eye for the first time, it puts them in more danger than they could have imagined

What do you think! Here is the premiere schedule for it!

TUESDAY, MARCH 22:
"The Suite Life Movie" preview becomes available via Disney Channel On Demand, a video-on-demand service available to a variety of affiliates including Cablevision, Time Warner and Verizon FiOS TV customers.

TUESDAY, APRIL 5:

"The Suite Life Movie" will be available as part of Netflix's Watch Instantly offering.

The screenplay was written by Michael Saltzman (writer of "The Pink Panther," executive-producer of "Murphy Brown") and Robert Horn (writer of Broadway's "13," writer/producer of "Designing Women," writer of "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure"). "The Suite Life Movie" was directed by Sean McNamara (executive producer of "Even Stevens," producer of "That's So Raven," director of "Zeke and Luther"); executive-produced by Pamela Eells O'Connell ("The Suite Life on Deck," "Family Matters"), Irene Dreayer ("The Suite Life on Deck," "Sister, Sister"), Jessica Rhoades ("Den Brother"), Cole Sprouse and Dylan Sprouse; and produced by Tracey Jeffrey ("Psych"). The movie was created by Danny Kallis ("The Suite Life on Deck," "Who's The Boss?") and Jim Geoghan ("The Suite Life on Deck," "Family Matters"), and developed by Danny Kallis and Pamela Eells O'Connell.

Matt's Mean Girls 2 Review

Hey guys it's Matt with my Mean Girls 2 review! The movie premiered January 23rd on ABC Family and I watched it! In this movie, the plastics are back and ready to start more trouble. Mean Girls was a good movie so I was excited to see this. Mean Girls 2 wasn't as good as the first movie but it was good. I didn't think it would be that good but boy did they prove me wrong!
I really liked Jo Mitchell. I liked how she was really mature. I think the movie had a great cast. A lot of people said that they didn't think it would be a good movie because the cast had a lot of Disney stars but it came out great. Meaghan Martin did good job with her character. I also really liked Maiarav Walsh as Mandi. Jennifer Stone rocked as Abby!
I also loved the plot of the movie. It really made the title, Mean Girls, make perfect sense. Jo really tried to keep her cool when Mandi went after her but soon it had to be war. I don't want to spoil anything so just watch the movie for yourself! Great cast, great plot, and great movie! I don't think I want to see a Mean Girls 3, only because I think just one more story about the plastics was good enough but you never know!
I strongly reccomend this movie so if you haven't seen it, go buy it on DVD!
