Catch Up Time: Are You Ready to 'Let it Shine'?!

Hey everyone! It's Matt back! I've been so busy that I really haven't posted and I'm really sorry! Tommy is the only one who is really keeping this site up on it's feet so let's give him a round of applause! Thanks Tommy! But he's just been posting for his audience. I've just left my audience hanging. So now I'm giving you guys something to be excited about! Remember that movie  told you about last summer that was in production, :Let it Shine? Well it's coming out pretty soon and that's this summer! The film stars Tyler James Williams (Everybody Hates Chris), Coco Jones (Radio Disney's Next Big Thing, Season 3), and Trevor Jackson! The movie looks amazing and I'm so excited for it! Check out the trailer below!

And guys, that' not it! Let it Shine is full of music and so much more! Check out the plot below:

The inspiring story unfolds in Atlanta, Georgia, as Cyrus DeBarge and his best friend Kris McDuffy reunite with their childhood friend, teenage singing sensation Roxanne "Roxie" Andrews, whose music label is sponsoring a songwriting contest at a teen club. Cyrus, who writes music under the name "Truth," crafts a heartfelt and contest-winning rhyme about Roxie but to his dismay, his work is mistakenly attributed to Kris. Lacking the confidence to step forward, Cyrus stands by while Kris not only takes credit for the lyrics but ultimately begins to win Roxanne's heart too. Now, it's up to the true poet to overcome self-doubt, seize the opportunity to reveal his authentic self and pursue his dreams. All the while, Cyrus must convince his preacher father that hip-hop music can have a positive message.

Sounds good, right? I love how diverse the film is. Not only that, but the music that we've heard so far is really good. Listen to one of the first songs release below, "Don't Run Away". This song is the song that Cyrus enters into the songwriting contest. Really listen to the message that Cyrus is telling to Roxie.

Jessie and Austin & Ally Picked Up for Season 2 and Jessie Gets a Movie!

So Disney Channel has just picked up 2 series for a second season! Austin & Ally AND Jessie! Both amazing shows!

So looks like there is a bright future for Ross Lynch, Teen Beach Musical and more Austin & Ally! But he is not the only one with all the glory. Debby Ryan is one a roll! Radio Rebel, season 2 of Jessie, AND there's still more! Disney also has ordered a script for a Jessie DCOM! Jessie was a hit show from the start so a Disney Channel Original Movie is just going to make it better!

Austin & Ally and Jessie (wow, all names, lol) have all been ranked #1 a huge number of times and have amazing rating. They definitely deserve this!

Teen Beach Musical, A New DCCOM Coming 2013!

Teen Beach Musical

Ya know the Disney Upfront that they recently held for 2012? Well they announced this awesome movie, Teen Beach Musical! And now we have the official announcement for the movie!!! It stars our favorite guy, Ross Lynch from Austin & Ally. So it's a very...different movie. So, is it about a love story that takes place on a teen beach summer hang out and it's a musical? NO! It's much less cheesy and much different from your normal musical! Check out the press release below!

BLUE SKY, GENTLE BREEZE, SUNSHINE AND SWEET HARMONIES

PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN ON "TEEN BEACH MUSICAL,"

A DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIE

Starring Ross Lynch, Maia Mitchell, Garrett Clayton,

Grace Phipps, John DeLuca, Chrissie Fit, Kevin Chamberlin and Steve Valentine

Ross Lynch plays Brady

School's out, surf's up and Disney Channel is taking a dip into the teen beach party movie genre with "Teen Beach Musical," a modern "no more complications, just good vibrations," break into song and dance comedy in which surfer girl McKenzie and her boyfriend Brady literally go into a classic surf movie musical where it's bikers versus surfers -- and they're in for trouble if they don't back down.  While they hatch a plan to get back home to present day, the duo try to blend in as everyone around them spontaneously breaks into song and dance. But when they interfere with the plot of the movie, their fate may be changed forever.

Matt's Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension Review!

Hey it’s Matt, with my review of the amazing movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2^nd Dimension! This movie was amazing! I absolutely loved it! I’m a huge Phineas and Ferb fan and I was so happy with this movie! I saw it the premiere night; I was just too lazy to post my review all this time.

First of all I loved the story. It was well thought. I especially loved how the movie started. It started with Phineas, Ferb, Perry, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and Candace being captured by the 2^nd Dimension Dr. D. It showed us a glimpse of what we would be seeing and then it when into the morning it all began. I thought the song, “Everything’s Better with Perry,” was a good song to start the movie with. It showed the chemistry between Phineas, Ferb, and Perry which we really don’t get to see in a lot of the episodes. I thought that was really cool.

I also I absolutely loved the characters. I’ve always loved the characters but I loved them even more in this movie because, we got to see different sides of them. When Phineas and Ferb found out that Perry was a secret agent, I really got why Phineas was so mad. If I found out that someone I loved was living a whole different life that I didn’t know about, I’d be pretty mad, too. But I also really felt bad for Perry. Phineas was being so harsh on Perry and he was getting the wrong idea about everything. Perry never told Phineas and Ferb this, not only because it’s hard for him to communicate with them but also so he could protect them. I also loved Dr. D in this movie a lot! He was funnier than ever! Same for Candace, she was hilarious!

I had a lot of favorite parts in this movie! *SPOILER ALERT* I loved the “Brand New Best Friend” scene. It was hilarious! Double Doof comedy! I also loved the battle scene after the 2^nd Dimension Dr. D found out that Perry was a secret agent. It was very actional, suspenseful, and emotional. I also loved the song “Summer (Where Do We Begin)” and I really liked the scene. Next I loved the scene when Phineas and Ferb went to save Perry. One of the best things I loved was the ending scene! It was very action-filled and some parts were funny! Second to last, I really loved in the end when Isabella kissed Phineas and I loved Phineas’ reaction! Lastly, I loved when Perry looked at the pictures in the end. The pictures were funny and they kept a lot of memories that Perry can keep.

That’s it! I give the movie 4.5/5 or a low 5/5! I’m very excited for the feature film that will be coming out some time between 2012 and 2013! I can’t wait for that! I absolutely love this movie and if you haven’t seen you have to go see it now or go buy it August 23^rd when it comes out on DVD and trust me, it won’t be a waste of money!
