Matt's Back!

Hey guys! Guess who? Yeah, it's Matt! I'm back to Teen Entertainment! I never really left :P I just got really busy and caught up in other fandoms! But I'm here now! Missed you all! First I just wanted to welcome our old editor, DC Dude, back to Teen Entertainment! Welcome back DC Dude, we missed you! It's good to have another editor on the blog! :) Now that I'm back and ready to edit, I'll be making a lot of posts for the blog.

I'm definitely going to be reviewing Bridgit Mendler's new album! I listened to it and I really like it!

I have some old cover art that I will release!

I am a huge fan of Disney Channel's original series, Austin & Ally, along with Jessie, so expect a lot of fandom posts!

I am curious to know what DC Dude thinks of all the new Disney Channel shows. After being gone for so long, he needs to catch up! So what do you think DC Dude?

I also will be posting news as usual! iGoodbye, from iCarly recently came on :( I will miss iCarly! I might review it! :)

Matt's Wizards of Waverly Place Series Finale Review!

Hey everybody! So I haven’t posted in a while so I’m gonna post! So a few weeks ago the Wizards of Waverly Place Series Finale premiered! It was so good! We all loved it so much! What did we absolutely love about it? There so much! I give it 5/5 stars! I will really miss Wizards but I really loved the finale!

*SPOILER ALERT!*

So first I want to mention, if you haven’t seen the finale yet, go see it now! Not only that, but don’t read the review because it is spoiler filled! Okay so anyway, I really liked the plot! It had a lot of twists and things that I didn’t expect. The competition really spilt Alex, Justin, and Max apart! I really felt bad for Alex. So Alex wanted to save Harper and Zeke during the competition. They were taken away by a griffin and into his nest. So the siblings took a timeout to save them. Apparently, they timed out and the competition was over. I think Justin definitely overreacted! I know he was mad that he couldn’t even get a chance at being the Family Wizard but he didn’t have to blame Alex and be so mean to her! And then Max, well I don’t know about him. He was just siding with Justin! But when Jerry threatened to close the store they all teamed up to save the family business! And then they got back into the competition!  It was all just a test to make them work together!

Matt's Breaking Dawn Movie Review!

So I saw The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn a long time ago! I wanted to share with you guys what I thought about it! I mean, it's never too late to do a review! So I thought this movie was..........AMAZING and was the best Twilight movie so far! 4.5 out of 5 stars!

So I really liked the entire movie. I really like the wedding scene. It was nice to see Bella and Edward finally get married!

Matt's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Review!

Matt here with my review of the amazing, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! I saw the movie last Friday and it was epic! It was the best movie in the entire series! I definitely think it may be the movie of the year!

What I really liked was the action! That was really cool! Like all Harry Potters movies, the movie was filled with a lot of action. I didn’t read then book so I didn’t know what was going to happen in some parts but I did guess that Harry Potter would kill Voldemort. All throughout the movie there was action and I guess that is what this movie is about. The fight to kill Voldemort.

I liked the relationships in this movie. I liked the Ron and Hermione relationship. I also like the relationship between Harry and his surroundings. They all seemed to really care for him. No one would give him up for their life. They all seemed like they were a big family that cared for each other.

Lastly, I liked the ending. First, I liked how Harry killed Voldemort! Epic! But I also liked the epilogue when Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny were taking their kids to Hogwarts. It was a very emotional part of the movie because it was the end and Harry’s story is done. I liked how they closed the movie. It was nice to see the next generation of Hogwarts going to Hogwarts!

This movie was spectacular! I definitely recommend you see it! 5/5! If you haven’t seen it then go see it now!

Matt's Monte Carlo Review!

So I went to see Selena Gomez's new movie, Monte Carlo! It was pretty good! It was definitely what I expected it to be. A nice movie that the whole family can enjoy!

I thought that Selena Gomez really out did herself. She was fantastic playing to roles. I also thought Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester did a great job! Katie Cassidy was really funny! I also thought that the 3 girls had a great bond that made the movie seem very realistic.

I also really liked the story. When you hear of the movie you'd think of the ordinary story about two girls who are identical and step into each other's shoes for a moment but then things get out of hand. This was that but it was a little different which made it better. Then there was the romance. That was really sweet. And it had that Paris feel to it which made it really romantic!

Overall, I'd say the movie was pretty good. I'd give it a 3/5 or a 3.5/5. I do recommend seeing it if you haven't all ready!

Matt's Transformers: Dark of the Moon Review

Hey guys Matt here with my review on the epic movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon! This movie was amazing! TOTALLY EPIC! Way better than the other movies (and the other movies were great so this movie has to be greater!)! Honestly, I didn’t think it will turn out as great as it did. I’m not total TF fan so I wasn’t as excited for this movie as others probably were but when I saw it, it blew me away!

First I really liked how the story rolled. The each plot fit in to each other perfectly. It was really cool seeing *SPOILER ALERT* how Sam found out about the “Dark of the Moon” and how all the Decepticons took power. The characters were also really great. And I definitely won’t forget, the action was amazing! I saw it in 3D so it was even better. Sometimes seeing movies in 3D aren’t worth it but this movie was.

Second, I thought this movie was really funny! It wasn’t a comedy but somehow the producers found a way to add funny into a serious, actional film. Shia Labeouf was pretty funny in this movie! Ken Jeong was also really funny! The funny floated throughout the characters as the movie went on. That’s something I definitely enjoyed.

Last, but not least, I thought the relationship between Carly and Sam was way better than Mikaela and Sam! I also thought Rosie Huntington- Whiteley was a much better actress then Megan Fox! It seemed as if Sam and Carly connected better. They had a better spark. And I think Rosie is on her way to be a much more successful actress then Megan Fox would in her entire life! I’m not trying to hate on Megan but, I’m just comparing the two.

So that’s it! I definitely recommend this movie! I’d give it maybe a 4.5/5 or a low 5/5. Go see it now and in 3D! Transformers: Dark of the Moon WILL blow you away!

Matt's Teen Entertainment Charlie Shakes It Up and So Random Premiere Reviews!

Hey it's Matt with my review on Disney Channel's newest episodes that premiered last Sunday (June 5th, 2011)! First was the all new Disney Channel crossover between the two hit shows, Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up, Charlie Shakes It Up! Second was the premiere of the all new sketch comedy series, introduced by Sonny With a Chance, So Random!

I really liked Charlie Shakes It Up! I thought it could have been longer but I still liked it. I thought it had the same, great as always, comedy that we all love! But this time it was a mixture of Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up comedy so it was two times better! I think the cast really went well with each other to create a great show! I think Disney should do another crossover between these two shows and then add another show to make it three times as fun and it would be a three part event! That would be very cool! I'm definitely looking forward to more Disney Channel crossovers! Overall this episode was great and I'd give it a 3.5/5! What did you think?
So Random was the highlight of the night! I think it's the start of something great! I really like the new format and the theme song! I loved the sketches especially! The first one was All Star Wheel of Fortune and that was amazing! That sketch was so funny! It was probably the best in the show! They have to do more parodies like this! Second was Helmet Ninjas. It was okay to be honest. It wasn't the best but it was pretty funny. Next was Zombie Man. That was a little funny but not that great. But then it got much better later on. The Rufus sketch was hilarious! It was very funny and was a great sketch! Last was Tantrum Girl on Ponies. That was very funny! Allisyn Ashley Arm is a rising star and I think So Random will really bring her to the top! She was hilarious! Then there was the performance by Cody Simpson and he was pretty good! I thought he was a good singer and I am looking forward to hearing more from him. Overall the episode was amazing! a 4/5! I really think So random could be the next big thing for Disney. Like what Tiffany Thorton said, it's like Saturday Night Live for kids! There aren't many sketch shows out there right now so I think this will be a big hit! Although we will miss Sonny With a Chance and Demi Lovato, this show will be a perfect replacement! I definitely looking forward to more from So Random!Comment below and tell us what you thought of these episodes!

Matt's Teen Entertainment "Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure" Review

Hey Matt here with my review of the Disney Channel Original Movie, Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure! I watched the movie when it premiere, sorry my review is so late! This movie was excellent! Once again a job well done by Ashley Tisdale!

I really thought that Ashley did an amazing job as Sharpay, once again. In this movie, Sharpay is over so she is more grown up. Ashley brought that to the character and gave her more of a sense of maturity. She made Sharpay more mature without making her too serious. I also loved Sharpay's humor! It was very funny and adorable as always! I liked how further in the movie, Sharpay kinda got a taste of her own medicine and how she changed after that. And then there's the pink! The signature color for Sharpay! There was A LOT of pink in this movie and it brought out the Sharpay that we all know and love! Sharpay is definitely a character no one will ever forget!
Next, I loved the whole entire plot! It wasn't exactly High School Musical but it was a new, different movie that we can all enjoy! First, I thought that the Sharpay and Peyton romance was really cool! I really liked how they finally gave Sharpay a love interest. There was Zeke but he wasn't really her real love interest. I think Sharpay and Peyton make a cute couple. I liked how Sharpay exposed Amber Lee Adams! She had finally gotten a taste of her own medicine and now it was her turn to be the good guy! Lastly, there was the puppy love! That was so cute! Boi and Countess were very cute and they did a great job in this movie!

Lastly I thought the music was pretty good. I didn't think it was very High School Musical but it was still very good. The music fit Sharpay well. My favorite was "My Boi and Me" because, it was a nice bouncy song that showed the relationship between Sharpay and Boi. It was a very cute musical number, too! I also liked "The Rest of My Life" because, it had that Broadway show kinda tone. The musical number made it even better because it looked like an actual Broadway show! All the other songs were also great!

Matt's The Suite Life Movie Review

Hey it's Matt! As you all know The Suite Life Movie premiered last night on Disney Channel! And have to say I loved it! It was very science fiction but I liked how they took a big step to create a different Disney Channel Original Movie. It was amazing!

First off, I liked the plot. It was very different. It was a plot you wouldn't expect from "The Suite Life". The whole mad scientist thing was really cool. I think the crew that worked on the movie really wanted it to be an epic adventure that's not like any other DCOM. And I think they succeeded. They didn't go too far and didn't go too less. It was perfect.

Second, I really liked the relationship between Zack and Cody. In this movie they really were growing apart and they didn't understand each other. But then in the end they really stepped into each other's shoes. I was glad that Bailey, London, Woody, or Mr. Moseby weren't on the adventure with Zack and Cody. It gave them a chance to connect and work together.

Lastly, I really liked the science fiction and romance part of it. I liked the danger Zack and Cody were in. The suspense was very cool. It was one of those movies that made you talk to the TV and say "Oh no run! Don't stand there run!". The evil twins were creepy but in the entertaining creepy way. And then the romance. I really liked the Cody and Bailey thing. It was so sweet and every story needs a little bit of romance, right? They really are the perfect match. But what I didn't get was why Zack was hitting on Nellie when he was dating Maya. I think Maya should have been put in the movie because It would have gave both Cody and Zack a love interest.

Overall the movie was excellent! I'd give it 3.5 out of 5. It was really good, the cast was great, and I highly recommend it! It could have been longer and the beginning was a little rushed but it slowed down towards the end. Anyway I highly recommend it and it is an excellent movie! If you haven't seen it yet then you HAVE to see it!

Matt's Hannah Montana Forever Finale Review

Heyo it's Matt! This is my review for the finale of Hannah Montana Forever! First thing I just wanna say...I CAN'T BELIEVE HANNAH MONTANA ENDED! I'M GONNA MISS IT SO MUCH! Anyway back to the review. So yeah Hannah Montana rocks and I bet everyone is going to miss it. My review may contain spoilers so just don't risk going too far into it if you didn't see the finale yet but I will keep them to a minimum.

I really like how they started it off as an ordinary Hannah Montana episode. Although it is a very big episode, they still kept the same funny in it. I really like the Say What" that Miley gave. Longest one ever! It was so funny. I also liked the plot a lot. It was a really good plot for the finale of the series. It was really cool to know that Miley and Lilly weren't going to be split apart. It let us know that Miley and Lilly will always be best friends.

Now what I really liked. I loved how they left the relationships in the series. One was Miley and Jackson. They didn't leave them as the ordinary Miley and Jackson. In this episode they finally understood each other. Even though they always fight and say things about each other, they still love each other and how they act is just a way of showing it...in a weird way. Then there is Miley and her dad. Although it didn't show much between them, you can always tell that they have something special and that it will never change. Now Miley, Lilly, and Oliver. They are best friends and you can always tell. I think Lilly and Oliver will last forever because, they are the perfect couple. Miley and Jesse on the other hand, well, they may not be the one for each other but Miley will find someone. I can really see her with Travis from Hannah Montana: The Movie. I also think Jackson and Sienna are right for each other and that they will stay together. Anyway, I liked how Lilly knew that the Europe thing wasn't her. It really showed reality in the series. But when Miley came back to Standford, that was the best part. It showed how much Miley loved Lilly and that their friendship will never end.

And lastly, the characters. They gave the characters good endings. Jackson probably turn out to be a successful person and will probably make a lot of money just for testing video games and maybe even creating them. That is perfect for him. Robby Ray will probably be happy with where he is now. Having a great family and just living life. Oliver will probably be a great musician and be very successful in his career. Lilly, well I don't really know what she is majoring in at college but I know she will also be successful in anything she does. She has a great, lovable personality. And lastly, Miley. She will probably continue in the entertainment business. I think she will continue to sing and continue to star in movies etc. Miley is awesome and we all know her future is bright.

Well that's it! The Hannah Montana series finale was awesome and if you haven't seen it, see it. Hannah Montana honestly will be forever and will be forever loved. Hannah Montana Forever!

Matt's Opinion On Taylor Momsen's Miley Cyrus and Disney Comments

I bet a lot of you guys have heard of Taylor Momsen’s (from Gossip Girl) crappy comments about Miley Cyrus and Disney. I’m here, Matt, to give you my opinion about her comment before I go and judge maybe you should read what she said.

Here her first one:
"I'm not looking to be Miley f**king Cyrus. I don't care about the fame. I do it because I love music. I like making records and if people like them, then we'll go along for the ride. I think the Disney bubblegum s**t that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression."

And now the second one:
“I don't even know Miley Cyrus. There's just no comparison between us, you know. I'm a rocker, she's a pop star. We're entirely different things and there's a big difference between us. I have nothing against her, I don't even know her. I just don't listen to her stuff. I don't give [an expletive]. It's ridiculous that Disney is as relevant as it is today even with adults. Where is the real music? What happened to Zeppelin, and people who play their own instruments? There's always going to be pop but it's not real music, it's not me."

First of all why is she calling Miley, Miley f**king Cyrus when she doesn’t even know her. She doesn’t even know if she is in it for the fame. Disney is not bubble gum s**t. If anything she is! Disney is a classic and it brings family closer. That stupid crappy drama show that she is on doesn’t bring anyone together. Rock is not real music! It’s just a bunch of drumsticks randomly banging on a drum set and electric guitars being played at max volume on the amplifiers. It has no rhythm to it. She’s acting like her opinion is fact and it’s not fact. It’s more false then true I bet if you did a worldwide survey. Pop music has a rhythm to it and it is something to dance to. You can’t dance to rock music. Taylor Momsen probably doesn’t even know the definition of music. Music can be played with anything. It can even be you taping your finger nails on your cell phone screen as long as it has a rhythm to it. You can make music with the little things around you. That’s real music. Music can be anything as long as it has a rhythm. I don’t know why Taylor got so worked up because people were comparing Miley and her. I agree they are nothing a like. Miley would be more mature about this.

New Layout!

Yo! How do you like the new layout?! I decided instead of doing the banner contest, Josh, DC Dude, Tommy and I can just make random banners whenever we want and then I'll just pick a random banner to use. So we won't waste all the good ideas that we all have! I love this new layout! I made the banner! It's gonna take a while to get all the sidebar things back on since I got a totally new template. But hey, it's worth the wait! Hope you like it!
