"PrankStars," New Disney Channel Reality Series Premiering July 15th

Big news! A new Disney Channel Reality Series called, PrankStars, will premiere July 15th! What is PrankStars?

Disney Channel stars Selena Gomez, Debby Ryan and Mitchel Musso surprise their biggest fans in the premiere episode of "PrankStars," a hidden camera series where unsuspecting tweens and teens are set up by family members and come face to face with their favorite celebrities in unpredictable and humorous situations. Premiering FRIDAY, JULY 15 (8:00 – 8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel, the reality series is hosted by Mitchel Musso ("Pair of Kings," "Phineas and Ferb"), who directs the pranks live from a covert mobile command center. New episodes will premiere every month featuring a roster of new stars.
In the premiere episode featuring three pranks, 14-year-old Mary is put to the test when she is paired up with Selena Gomez, disguised as a typical teenager, to learn a jingle during an audition for a fake bubble gum commercial. The hilarity continues as Debby Ryan recruits her No. 1 fan, 14-year-old Albany, to model for her upcoming fashion show, but Albany's loyalties are tested when she is asked to fire Debby. When Mitchel Musso's real-life best friend does not show up for an interview at a restaurant, he recruits unsuspecting patron, 15-year-old Luke, to step in for the hardest role of his life.
"PrankStars" is executive-produced by Barry Poznick ("Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"), John Stevens ("Lingo"), Charles Steenveld ("Family Game Night") and Rick de Oliveira ("All-Star Celebrity Treasure Hunt"). Musso co-wrote and performs the theme song. The reality series is a production of ZOO Productions. It carries a TV-G parental guideline.

Percy Jackson & The Sea of Monster Movie Gets a Director!

Big news, everyone! The sequel to Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief, Percy Jackson & The Sea of Monsters, is officially a go! Recently a director was hired! Chris Columbus sadly isn't coming back to director but only to produce.Thor Freudenthal, who directed Diary of a Wimpy Kid, will be the director of the film. The film will be based on the book, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Sea of Monsters. Logan Lerman, who played Percy in the first film, will be coming back.The movie is set to release in 2012. I recommend you read the book first. In the book, Percy must save “Camp Half-Blood” the safe haven where demigods are protected from evil by magic barriers. Someone has poisoned the barriers, so it’s up to Percy and his friends to venture into “The Sea of Monsters” to find the mythical Golden Fleece to save the camp. So I guess this may be what the movie is about. Are you excited for this movie? How do you think it will do?

Hey Gomez fans! Selena Gomez & the Scene's new album, When the Sun Goes Down, is releasing in almost 2 weeks and we have a preview of the album right here!

Also for all the Selena fans (like me) we have the full song of, Love You Like a Love Song! Selena performed on on GMA (Good Morning America)!

I really like the song! Britney Spears wrote the song, Whiplash for her album and Pixie Lott wrote the song, We Own the Night. You can definitely tell because the songs are totally their styles and Selena rocks them!

Shake It Up Movie In Dvelopment!

Hey everyone! Amazing news! The hit Disney Channel Original Series, Shake It Up, is currently in development for a Disney Channel Original Movie! Awesome right?! They are only in their first season and they are making a movie. The show was a really big hit so it makes perfect sense. Official press release:

The hit buddy comedy series set in the world of a tween dance show, "Shake It Up, Chicago!," has generated development plans for a DCOM debut. The comedy series features two high-spirited characters, best friends CeCe Jones and Raquel "Rocky" Blue, whose dreams of becoming professional dancers are realized when they become background dancers on the most popular teen dance show, "Shake it Up, Chicago!," a gig they land thanks to their longtime and well-connected friend, Deuce. Between learning a wide range of new dance styles, navigating the backstage antics at the show (especially with their rivals Tinka and Gunther) and their newfound social status at school, the girls experience new and fun adventures, some that test their friendship.

I'm excited to see Cece and Rocky make their way to a TV movie! What about you?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Runtime?

Hey wizards and movie-goers!

The run time for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has been confirmed by the producer, David Yates. The film is the shortest one in the film series, but that's understandable because it covers less than half of the book, and more than half is the ending battle! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is 2 hours and 5 minutes long! In total, the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows film is 4 hours and a half, if you count both parts together! Can't wait!

Transformers More than Meets the Eye Blog Contests

If your interested in my blog Transformers More than Meets the Eye, then I have a contest, starting today! The contest is to make a fan-made poster of Transformers 3 Dark of the Moon!Here is more information:

CONTEST #1: Fan-Made Poster
1. Fans do not have to be a certain age to enter.
2. Fans cannot steal any pictures or posters from others! If you use the original Dark of the Moon poster, you will not be counted in the contest.
3. Fans will be able to take pictures from anything Transformers, but must be very creative and design their own background by using color, pictures, paintings, etc.
4. The contest will start today, June 10th and end June 15th. Winners will be announced as soon as they will be picked!
5. Many may enter, 10 will win!
6. Posters will be looked at or graded for:
Creativity Scale 1-10
On Topic (Stays on Transformers topic.) Scale 1-10
Fan-Made (How much is fan-made.) Scale 1-10
7. Fans will take a poll after they enter their fan-made posters in, to see how much they enjoyed the contest.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Gameplay

Hey soldiers!
Here is some gameplay from COD MW3! It looks cool! But it looks just same COD. Really, I feel that the producers think they made such a big game. Just by looking at this gameplay, I know this probably won't be any different from COD 4, COD 6, and COD 7. It looks good, but nothing new. The producers are running out of ideas, and they need to take mutiple year long breaks like Mircosoft has done with Halo. They take breaks and get news ideas to make a new game thats stunning. Instead of making a new game in less than a year, just to have a new game every year, the creators of COD need to take a breather. I'm not saying this game doesn't look so don't buy it, I'm saying it looks good, but nothing different or better than what we've seen from COD in the last four years. Selena Gomez Rushed to the Hospital

Oh no! Bad news everyone, Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital after her appearance on "The Tonight Show!" Here is the official statement from her rep:

“Gomez was feeling horrible during and after the show, complaining of nausea and a severe headache."

GREAT NEWS! The cast of the hit Disney Channel Original Movie, Lemonade Mouth, have officially confirmed that a sequel is in the works! YAY! This is amazing! Disney Channel Original Series, "Jessie," In Production!

Hey everyone! Big News, the all new Disney Channel Original Series, "Jessie," starring Debby Ryan, is officially in production and has started filming! The official cast has also been announced!

Production has begun in Hollywood on "Jessie," a new comedy series starring 18-year-old Debby Ryan ("The Suite Life on Deck," "16 Wishes") as an idealistic teen from rural Texas who moves to New York City and becomes a nanny for a high-profile couple with four kids. The series is scheduled to premiere in fall 2011 on Disney Channel.

Starring alongside Ryan are Tony Award-nominated Kevin Chamberlin (Broadway's "The Addams Family") as Bertram, the frosty butler; Peyton List ("27 Dresses," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules") as Emma, a brilliant but cynical 13-year-old and the only biological child in the bunch; Karan Brar ("Diary of a Wimpy Kid," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules") as Ravi, a 10-year-old adoptee imbued with his Eastern culture, but thrilled with his new life in America; Cameron Boyce ("Grown Ups") as Luke, a 12-year-old adopted son who is exploding with mischief and is a videogame addict; and Skai Jackson ("Royal Pains") as Zuri, an adorable 7-year-old girl adopted from Africa who is highly imaginative and fanciful.
