Disney Channel Original Series, Austin and Ally Confirmed Cast

It's Matt again with Disney Channel news! Remember when I posted about the new Disney Channel show Austin and Ally? Well after Disney searched and searched for talent they finally found it!

After a nationwide search, three talented teens -- Ross Lynch, Laura Marano and Raini Rodriguez -- have been cast in the comedy pilot "Austin & Ally," to begin production next month in Hollywood. The pilot, in consideration for a Disney Channel series to premiere later this year, was created and executive-produced by Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, whose credits include "Good Burger," "Keenan & Kel," Disney Channel's "Sonny With A Chance" and "JONAS."

The multi-camera comedy follows the unlikely partnership between two polar opposites -- Austin, an extroverted musician/singer and Ally, a brilliant but shy songwriter -- and their two best friends, Trish and Dex. Unbeknownst to Ally, Austin and Dex "appropriate" one of her songs, record it, create a video and posts it on the internet, after which it and Austin become a local sensation. When Trish convinces Ally to tell the world she wrote the song, Austin begs her to write another hit for him. Instead, the two combine their talents to create a true musical tour-de-force.

14-year-old singer, dancer and actor Ross Lynch was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado, and has been seen in several national commercials, music videos and Disney XD's short-form series, "Moises Rules." He and his four siblings are members of the musical group R5. The part of Austin in "Austin & Ally" marks his first leading role.

15-year-old Laura Marano has the lead role of Ally. A singer and actress, the native Angeleno has been acting since she was age five, appearing in numerous commercials and series including "Without a Trace," "Back to You" and "The Sarah Silverman Program," and the animated features "Finding Nemo" and "Ice Age: The Meltdown."

Raini Rodriguez, 17, is set to play Ally's best friend, Trish. A native of Bryan, Texas, Rodriguez had a recurring role on Disney XD's comedy "I'm in the Band" and a guest starring role on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody." Her feature film credits include "Paul Blart Mall Cop" and Disney Studio's upcoming "Prom." Her brother Rico stars in ABC-TV's "Modern Family."

The role of Dex is yet to be cast.

Good Luck Charlie Season 2 and Movie Details

Hey it's Matt here! This Good Luck Charlie news might really excite you! Season 2 of GLC will premiere February 20th, 2011 and a little news on a certain crossover with GLC! Then the movie will premiere during the holiday season of 2011 and we have a plot for that! Here is the press release.

The comedy centers around the everyday trials, tribulations and triumphs of a busy family of six, including what happens when Charlie turns 2, begins potty training, and inadvertently causes a power outage, unplugging the online chatting and gaming plans of her siblings, Teddy, PJ and Gabe (which could prove harmful to the teens' wellbeing!). Starring are Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico and Eric Allan Kramer. Among the recurring cast is Raven Goodwin, Shane Harper and Daniel Curtis Lee (Disney XD's "Zeke and Luther"). Season Two also includes the first-ever crossover episode for "Good Luck Charlie," a storyline featuring the cast of Disney Channel's newest hit comedy series "Shake It Up."

Coolio right! And a Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up crossover! I'm sure it would be called, Charlie It Up or something like that! And lastly movie news!

In March, the "Good Luck Charlie" cast will begin production on the untitled holiday-themed Disney Channel Original Movie based on the series. It is scheduled to premiere in winter 2011. Written by Geoff Rodkey ("R.V.," "Daddy Day Care") and directed by Emmy-nominee Arlene Sanford ("Ally McBeal," "Boston Legal"), the storyline finds the Duncans heading for Christmas in Palm Springs, but en route, Teddy makes a snap decision that separates the family. With just three days to go and no flights available, Teddy must pull out all the stops, including a camper, car, bus and a bike, to make a Duncan family Christmas.

The movie sounds awesome! Also I do know that in the movie, the Duncans are visiting Amy's parents, the Blankenhoopers.

New Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Still!

Hey wizards and witches!
Finally another new image from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has arrived! The movie still shows the trio (Harry, Hermione, and Ron) starring at a bright light with amazed expressions on their faces. It looks as if it is taking place during the Battle of Hogwarts, or maybe before the Battle of Hogwarts, because they are all wearing the same clothes that they fight in or wear in the Battle of Hogwarts, according to the full-length trailer. Well tell me what you think, enjoy!

Matt's Hannah Montana Forever Finale Review

Heyo it's Matt! This is my review for the finale of Hannah Montana Forever! First thing I just wanna say...I CAN'T BELIEVE HANNAH MONTANA ENDED! I'M GONNA MISS IT SO MUCH! Anyway back to the review. So yeah Hannah Montana rocks and I bet everyone is going to miss it. My review may contain spoilers so just don't risk going too far into it if you didn't see the finale yet but I will keep them to a minimum.

I really like how they started it off as an ordinary Hannah Montana episode. Although it is a very big episode, they still kept the same funny in it. I really like the Say What" that Miley gave. Longest one ever! It was so funny. I also liked the plot a lot. It was a really good plot for the finale of the series. It was really cool to know that Miley and Lilly weren't going to be split apart. It let us know that Miley and Lilly will always be best friends.

Now what I really liked. I loved how they left the relationships in the series. One was Miley and Jackson. They didn't leave them as the ordinary Miley and Jackson. In this episode they finally understood each other. Even though they always fight and say things about each other, they still love each other and how they act is just a way of showing it...in a weird way. Then there is Miley and her dad. Although it didn't show much between them, you can always tell that they have something special and that it will never change. Now Miley, Lilly, and Oliver. They are best friends and you can always tell. I think Lilly and Oliver will last forever because, they are the perfect couple. Miley and Jesse on the other hand, well, they may not be the one for each other but Miley will find someone. I can really see her with Travis from Hannah Montana: The Movie. I also think Jackson and Sienna are right for each other and that they will stay together. Anyway, I liked how Lilly knew that the Europe thing wasn't her. It really showed reality in the series. But when Miley came back to Standford, that was the best part. It showed how much Miley loved Lilly and that their friendship will never end.

And lastly, the characters. They gave the characters good endings. Jackson probably turn out to be a successful person and will probably make a lot of money just for testing video games and maybe even creating them. That is perfect for him. Robby Ray will probably be happy with where he is now. Having a great family and just living life. Oliver will probably be a great musician and be very successful in his career. Lilly, well I don't really know what she is majoring in at college but I know she will also be successful in anything she does. She has a great, lovable personality. And lastly, Miley. She will probably continue in the entertainment business. I think she will continue to sing and continue to star in movies etc. Miley is awesome and we all know her future is bright.

Well that's it! The Hannah Montana series finale was awesome and if you haven't seen it, see it. Hannah Montana honestly will be forever and will be forever loved. Hannah Montana Forever!

So what do you think? I've been going around the internet, reading comments from other viewers on this topic. Every comment I've read is saying that these are the best spots shown during any Super Bowl. But a conflict has been going up among most viewers. Where is the boy wizard with the glasses? The amazing wizard with that scar on his head? What's his name... oh yeah Harry Potter!! Everyone has been complaining that there should be a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Super Bowl spot... but instead, we get the girl-voiced kid. We get Justin Bieberm but we want Harry Potter. So here's what I think, I think, "Screw you Warner Bros.!" Warner Brothers has no sense in marketing. But really, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows doesn't need a Super Bowl spot, because everyone knows about it and it's already popular all around the world. And besides, a trailer for Part 2 should be arriving on the 24th of this week! So excited!

In conclusion, I have to say that I agree with those viewers and commenters who've said this will be the best Super Bowl ever! I'm more excited for the spots then the game! We get to see alittile kung fu fighting with Kung Fu Panda 2 before the game, at the beginning of the game we get to see Marvel's first movie preview on Captain America, in the middle of the game we get into the action with Thor, just to get us ready for the grand finale, TF3!!!!!!!!! But the aftermath of the game is just crap!
Well, be sure to watch the Super Bowl of 2011, February 6th on Fox!

Just like the second movie, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers Dark of the Moon will have a 30 second trailer airing during the Super Bowl, on February 6th! Also, other movie trailers for movies like Captain America: The First Avenger, and Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides will be airing!

New "HP7 Part 2" and "Breaking Dawn Part 1" Stills

Here are first new movie stills from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."

The HP7 Part 2 movie still shows Neville Longbottom (Harry Potter's classmate/friend) beaten up and bloody alot. Also in the background is Bellatrix Lestrange (Voldemort's closet death eater/minion) watching Neville and probably laughing waiting to kill him. I'm not sure at what point the part of the movie is but it looks as if it's at the end during the 'Battle of Hogwarts.'

The "Breaking Dawn Part 1" movie still shows Edward and Bella, probably after their wedding at their honeymoon in bed, with no clothes on embracing. They've either starting "doing it", about to "do it", or just finished "doing it." It could be either one of those, but anyway if you're going, "Ooooooo, he was talking about doing 'it,'" then you probably aren't 13 or older and aren't mature. Don't say I didn't warn you. Its called "TEEN" Entertainment!

Well anyway, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" open in theaters July 15th and November 18th this year!

Remember to keep Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream alive wherever you go!!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules Trailer

What's up evryone it's Matt with the trailer for the all new movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules based on the book by Jeff Kiney! This is the sequel to the first movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid. As Greg enters seventh grade, he and his older brother - and chief tormentor - Rodrick must deal with their parents' misguided attempts to have them bond. The trailer looks so funny! The movie comes out March 25th, 2011.



I love the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series and if you haven't read it then go out and buy all five books now! Advice: read the book before you watch the movie because a lot of things get changed and if you see the movie first then it basically totally messes up the real story coming from the book for you. I'm really excited for this movie. What about you?

DCOM, Lemonade Mouth Details

Hey everyone it's Matt with new, better details on the new DCOM, Lemonade Mouth! Disney released a lot and the new details really tell a lot about the story! It sounds really exciting! This just might be the next HSM but in a different way.

The story begins in present day as Lemonade Mouth (comprised of Olivia White, Wen Gifford, Stella Yamada, Mohini (Mo) Banjaree and Charlie Delgado) takes the stage at Madison Square Garden before thousands of cheering fans. Olivia, the introspective lead singer of the group, narrates the epic story of how the band got to this point.

It was a chance meeting in Miss Reznick's detention that brought this unlikely ensemble together. Stella, the connector in the group, immediately recognizes the potential for the band of detainees to become a band of rockers, but first she must convince the reluctant group that they need to take a chance on expressing themselves and realizing their dreams.

As the new friends learn more about each other, they discover their common belief that it's time for the students of Mesa High School to stand up and be heard -- all students, not just the popular athletes who benefit from Principal Brenigan's support of their extracurricular programs.

However, not everyone in the school is ready to welcome a new band. The school's popular rock group, Mudslide Crush, are determined to maintain their status as the school's leading entertainment choice. Complicating matters further is Mo's boyfriend, Scott, who is Mudslide Crush's lead guitarist.

Meanwhile, Olivia tries to come to terms with her absent father, Wen disapproves of his father's new girlfriend, Stella yearns to stand apart from her family's scholarly accomplishments, Mo searches for balance between her parents’ stringent expectations and the person she wants to be, and Charlie tries to escape living in the shadow of his older brother.

Starring are Bridgit Mendler as lead vocalist Olivia White, Adam Hicks as keyboardist Wen Giford, Hayley Kiyoko as electric guitarist Stella Yamada, Naomi Scott as bass guitarist Mohini (Mo) Banjaree, Blake Michael as percussionist Charlie Delgado, Nick Roux as Mudslide Crush lead guitarist Scott Picket, Chris Brochu as Mudslide Crush lead singer Ray Beech, Tisha Campbell-Martin as music teacher Miss Reznick and Christopher McDonald as Principal Brenigan.

The "Lemonade Mouth" pop music soundtrack includes nine original songs (plus a bonus track) by songwriters Vincent Alfieri, Aris Archontis, Johan Alkenas, Joleen Belle, Ebony Burks, Maria Christensen, Zach Danziger, Ali Dee Theodore, Andy Dodd, Adam Hicks, Tom Leonard, Jeannie Lurie, Charlie Mason, Niclas Molinder, Chen Neeman, Joacim Persson, Lindy Robbins, Shridhar Solanki, Ken Stacey, Shane Stevens, Matthew Tishler, Bryan Todd, Reed Vertelney, Windy Wagner, David Walsh and Adam Watts.
