Matt's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Review!

Matt here with my review of the amazing, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! I saw the movie last Friday and it was epic! It was the best movie in the entire series! I definitely think it may be the movie of the year!

What I really liked was the action! That was really cool! Like all Harry Potters movies, the movie was filled with a lot of action. I didn’t read then book so I didn’t know what was going to happen in some parts but I did guess that Harry Potter would kill Voldemort. All throughout the movie there was action and I guess that is what this movie is about. The fight to kill Voldemort.

I liked the relationships in this movie. I liked the Ron and Hermione relationship. I also like the relationship between Harry and his surroundings. They all seemed to really care for him. No one would give him up for their life. They all seemed like they were a big family that cared for each other.

Lastly, I liked the ending. First, I liked how Harry killed Voldemort! Epic! But I also liked the epilogue when Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny were taking their kids to Hogwarts. It was a very emotional part of the movie because it was the end and Harry’s story is done. I liked how they closed the movie. It was nice to see the next generation of Hogwarts going to Hogwarts!

This movie was spectacular! I definitely recommend you see it! 5/5! If you haven’t seen it then go see it now!

The Amazing Spider-Man Teaser Trailer Leaked!

Hey fans!
Quickly before it's removed by rightful owners! Here is the Amazing Spider-Man teaser trailer!
If it's not available then I'm sorry that's not my fault. But it'll be released Friday. It just leaked online today, but today isn't it's official release date, Friday is. So it will be available Friday! :)

What do you think of the teaser trailer? I think it's surprisingly disappointing. I thought the footage would be "stunning" like the lucky audience of a preview showing had described it as. Or now I should say unlucky audience. Here's why it's completely disappointing. It looks like it'll give us exactly what the first Spider-Man live action film had given us, but less satisfying. The story looks exactly the same and the action doesn't seem to look anything special. If the audience from the preview showing thought that the view from Spider-Man's eyes as he swung around NYC, was stunning, then they need to watch the Incredibles, Fantastic Four, Spider-Man 3, and Iron Man & Iron Man 2, because that is absolutely nothing special! I really don't like Emma Stone in a comic geeky movie like this. I'll admit that I like geeky stuff, and knowing that, I know that Emma Stone is not good for the role of Gwen Stacy. Emma Stone is like the modern b*tch who acts in movies about sex. For example, Easy A and Friends with Benefits. She isn't the down to earth girl Gwen is, and she'll ruin Gwen Stacy!
Please believe that I am not hating on the new Spider-Man movie. I actually had started to anticipate it until this trailer leaked online, because of how the footage to the teaser was a let down. One thing I do still anticipate from the trailer, is how Andrew Garfield will play Peter Parker not Spidey, but Peter, and how Peter's parents will be in the beginning of the film.
But this new Spidey will flunk at the Box Office, because of The Dark Knight Rises and the Avengers. Those two films will dominate the Box Office and will make Spider Man look like Hello Kitty!
So what do you think? Let me know if I'm being too harsh!

Both movies are going to be the biggest of the year, and are already the biggest of the summer! Transformers has already made $800 million in just three weeks! That's amazing. That's an unheard of performance! And Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has already made $500 million in just two days! HOLY MOLY!!!!!!! That's more than what New Moon made all together! These two movies are gonna dominate and change the summer blockbuster forever, and trust me they have already dominated the list of top grossing films of all time!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Breaks One-Day Record!

Hey fans!

First of, check out my review for the first part of the Deathly Hallows below!

In exciting Harry Potter news, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 surpassed The Twilight Saga New Moon's record for the first day opening, with $92 million! That's amazing! New Moon had $78 by the way. Harry Potter DH Part 2 has made $174 million worldwide for it's first day! That's a record!

Oh yeah, and if you think movies make $1 billion dollars in one day or one weekend, than you're wrong. That's not even possible! It takes movies months to make $1 billion.

Anyway, this is an exciting day for all Harry Potter fans, and a sad day to all Twilight fans! Haha take that Cullens! If I had to say which would win in a Wizard vs Vampires fan war, wizards would win!

Oh yeah, and I give the film 5/5 stars FANTASTIC and EMOTINAL! My review for the DH Part 2 will be coming soon. For now check out my review to the DH Part 1 below!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Full Movie Review Part 1

It's TommyTE here! And I'm reviewing the full Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie. My review will be split into four parts, because I have so much to say.
First, I will re-review Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1:

**THIS REVIEW CONTAINS FEW SPOILERS, SO IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN HP7 YET, AND CHOOSE TO NOT SPOIL IT FOR YOURSELF, THEN STOP READING!**

Grade of Part 1 and 2 combined:
10/5 stars! OVER THE TOP

Grade for Part 1:

5/5 stars A+

Review:
So if you just read the grade I gave this movie, don't think I'm just giving it full stars because I was excited for this movie. I've never given a movie all 5 stars, beisdes Transformers 3! I think that this movie was FANTASTIC! DARK! EXCITING! FRESH! VERY FUNNY! and FULL OF INTENSE ACTION!
First off, the relationship between the characters and actors was so emotional, and developed, they made the movie look so mature. I remember watching the 'Sorcerer's Stone,' and now Daniel, Emma, and Rupert are all grown up! Their characters, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley are the main trio, and are on the run from the Dark Lord Voldemort. The interaction between the actors and characters is so strong, it shows to the audience the relationship of them that helped make this franchise grow!
The fight between Harry and Ron was so inviting, it was the first you actually go to see Ron blow up on Harry. It was better seeing the fight on screen then on YouTube! Another part I found that was mature between the characters, was when Harry played by Daniel Radcliffe comforted Hermione played Emma Watson with a dance from a song on the radio to bring up her spirit, after Ron played by Rupert Grint leaves them. Daniel Radcliffe matured so much during the time off after filming 'the Half-Blood Prince.' Its a really good way to end the franchise with; the maturity between the trio!

Second, the theme and tone and the action. I thought I was watching a 'Harry Potter' styled 'Saw!' The movie was so dark and the tone was so dark. And to say it was as dark as 'Saw.' That's a big jump ahead for the 'Harry Potter' franchise! The beginning chase where everyone drank 'Polyjuice' potion and they turned into the seven Potters was so exciting! It was like I was part of the 'Order of the Phoenix' and I was flying through the sky with the characters, and the Death Eaters just pouring down at the audience. When the Death Eaters attack, I jumped, because they just came out of nowhere and the scene was so dark! Although, I thought the producers could've made the part when the Death Eaters killed Hedwig (Harry's owl,) little more dramatic. Then when Voldemort showed up and did the big :wand collision" thing like in the end of 'the Goblet of Fire.' The sound effects and the CGI in the movie was so advanced and developed, it was 10 times more than what I was expecting! (Sadly, Mad-Eye Moody died during that part.)
Okay well I don't want to tell the entire movie to the readers or the fans, so I'll just skip to the ending. I also thought that the sequence in the end when the trio, was being chased by the Snatchers in the hallows was dramatic. Even without any epic music playing in the background, that made the sequence very dramatic! All you could here was heavy breathing, panting, running, shouting, and cruses & spells being thrown. It was an amazing action scene. Sadly at the end of the movie the beloved ***** died. (You'll have to see the movie to reveal the character who died.)
The movie also earned its A+, because of its comedic scenes! I'd say that the comedian of the movie was Ronald Weasley played by Rupert Grint. There were many funny parts, but I don't want to spoil anymore for the ones who haven't seen it. And if you have seen it, then you know the parts I'm talking about.
The most funny part in the movie, was when the trio snuck into the 'Ministry of Magic' by using 'Polyjucie' potion to disguise as employees who worked at the Ministry. It was very funny how the trio acted as if they were just born the day before. And Ron was the most hilarious!

I think the movie had a sense of freshness to it. Even though it had the same plot, same back story and visual, the trio figured out things they never knew about Dumbledore and Voldemort. Which made the movie seem so fresh and brand- new watching it on the big screen! Well, to end my review, I'd say that this movie is one that every person would get into and enjoy.
It has the biggest action sequences, the funniest humor, and the darkest but emotional tone to it as well! Unless you're too cool for Harry Potter, than you would completely enjoy the 'Deathly Hallows!'

Finally the finale to the worldwide phenomenom is here! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is now in theaters! This is the last Harry Potter, so I say you have to see it in theaters, and not wait for it's DVD release! I'll have my review up later today after I have seen the movie! So excited!

The Amazing Spider-Man Trailer Description and Photos

Hey fans!
First of, I'm still trying to work out the tribute video. It may not be as I planned but I have a way to change it and upload it with no problems. Second of, recently there has been a trailer description for The Amazing Spider Man, which was said to be released in the theaters with Transformers Dark of the Moon, but instead is going to be released at Comic Con (where the geeks roam.)
Trailer Description:

Peter Parker played by Andrew Garfield is being beaten by bullies, one of which is played by Chris Zylka.
Shots of Dr.Connors [Rhys Ifans] being injected by a greenish fluid in a lab.
Shot of Parker being bitten by a spider,in his own house in what appears to be an attic lab.
Shots of Gwen Stacy's face, Uncle Ben's face and Aunt May's face.
Shot of an alley with Ben played by Martin Sheen and Parker, then one of a dying Ben who utters 'With Greatest power must come greatest responsibility, never forget that.'(all of that classic corny stuff.)
Shot of Parker putting on the costume, camera angle from his back. He turns and is now atop The Empire State Building.
Goes black for a few seconds, we hear some monstrous sounds and cut to Connors' lab where his foot transforms into a scaly one. Goes black and we hear roars.
Then we see a giant web with the title The Amazing Spider-Man. Coming Next Summer in 3d and Imax."

First of all don't see it on 3D, okay this kind of movie isn't worth it. A spider fighting a lizard isn't worth your money, but of course you're going to see it, but don't waste your extra money with 3D. Second of, I hope this movie isn't an remake of the Sam Raimi Spider-Man series. Let's hope not fans!
In other Spider-Man news, new photos from the film have been released. Check 'em out. I can tell Andrew Garfield is going to be a great Peter Parker and Spider-Man. But honestly, I hate Emma Stone. I hate her voice, her acting, her everything! Looking at that picture when Garfield has shirt off and Stone's head is against his, I can tell that Stone is going to over do Gwen's character and create her into a character Gwen Stacy isn't. Honestly, I hate everyone in the new cast but for Andrew Garfield. I just think they sren't right for the roles. And I would know because I used to be a HUGE Spider-Man fan.

Hey wizards and witches!
The Harry Potter weekend has ended, but the countdown is still going. There are only 3 days 'til Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 hits theaters! To continue the countdown to the film, thanks to CBS, here is a video of the cast on the red carpet of the New York premiere!

It's sad to see Daniel, Rupert, and Emma step out of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. I remember on Saturday, watching them in the Sorcercer's Stone and the Chamber of Secrets. I'm sad to say, it all ends Friday! :.....( Harry Potter will live Forever! :D

Will Demi Lovato Make a Guest Appearance On So Random?

Hey everyone! So recently Allisyn Ashley Arm talked about if Demi Lovato would gust star as a musical guest or not on So Random! Here's what she said:

"We’ve reached out to Demi and her family and we wish them all the best and we support her 100 percent. I haven’t seen her recently, but I know she’s doing well. Tiffany [Thornton] from the show, she keeps in touch with her. I hope Demi does a musical performance at some point that would be incredible, but I don’t know that [anything is planned] so far."

So what do you guys think? Would you like to see her guest star? I think it would be cool if she guest starred as her SWAC character, Sonny. Then maybe they could make up something about why Sonny left and Sonny could tell everyone. Then she could guest star in a few sketches and then perform a song! That would be cool. What do you guys think?

Final ABC Family Harry Potter Weekend Starts Today

Hey wizards and witches!

There are only 8 days before the final film in the Harry Potter saga is casted! To kick off the countdown, ABC family will be bringing the final Harry Potter Weekend before the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! So, this is your last chance to catch all of the Harry Potter movies (with the expection of TDH Part 1, and the Half-Blood Prince) on TV before TDH Part 2! Unless you own all of the movies, or plan on renting them before you go see TDH Part 2, then this is your last chance. And because of my thoughtful actions, I have checked all TV schedules, and found out that there will be no more showings of the Half-Blood Prince on TV. So now you fans know if you want to watch exactly all of the movies, you may have to buy or rent The Deathly Hallows Part 1 and the Half-Blood Prince.

Anyway, the Harry Potter Weekend starts today with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone at 7:30 PT. AKA Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. So grab your friends, some pillows, some blankets, some nachos, some pizza, some popcorn, okay you get it. Oh yeah and don't worry if you won't make it to the TV tonight, because all movies will be playing twice throughout the weekend event on ABC Family, with the expection of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!

Matt's Monte Carlo Review!

So I went to see Selena Gomez's new movie, Monte Carlo! It was pretty good! It was definitely what I expected it to be. A nice movie that the whole family can enjoy!

I thought that Selena Gomez really out did herself. She was fantastic playing to roles. I also thought Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester did a great job! Katie Cassidy was really funny! I also thought that the 3 girls had a great bond that made the movie seem very realistic.

I also really liked the story. When you hear of the movie you'd think of the ordinary story about two girls who are identical and step into each other's shoes for a moment but then things get out of hand. This was that but it was a little different which made it better. Then there was the romance. That was really sweet. And it had that Paris feel to it which made it really romantic!

Overall, I'd say the movie was pretty good. I'd give it a 3/5 or a 3.5/5. I do recommend seeing it if you haven't all ready!

Matt's Transformers: Dark of the Moon Review

Hey guys Matt here with my review on the epic movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon! This movie was amazing! TOTALLY EPIC! Way better than the other movies (and the other movies were great so this movie has to be greater!)! Honestly, I didn’t think it will turn out as great as it did. I’m not total TF fan so I wasn’t as excited for this movie as others probably were but when I saw it, it blew me away!

First I really liked how the story rolled. The each plot fit in to each other perfectly. It was really cool seeing *SPOILER ALERT* how Sam found out about the “Dark of the Moon” and how all the Decepticons took power. The characters were also really great. And I definitely won’t forget, the action was amazing! I saw it in 3D so it was even better. Sometimes seeing movies in 3D aren’t worth it but this movie was.

Second, I thought this movie was really funny! It wasn’t a comedy but somehow the producers found a way to add funny into a serious, actional film. Shia Labeouf was pretty funny in this movie! Ken Jeong was also really funny! The funny floated throughout the characters as the movie went on. That’s something I definitely enjoyed.

Last, but not least, I thought the relationship between Carly and Sam was way better than Mikaela and Sam! I also thought Rosie Huntington- Whiteley was a much better actress then Megan Fox! It seemed as if Sam and Carly connected better. They had a better spark. And I think Rosie is on her way to be a much more successful actress then Megan Fox would in her entire life! I’m not trying to hate on Megan but, I’m just comparing the two.

So that’s it! I definitely recommend this movie! I’d give it maybe a 4.5/5 or a low 5/5. Go see it now and in 3D! Transformers: Dark of the Moon WILL blow you away!

Lemonade Mouth 2 Already Filming?

I know a lot of us are Lemonade Mouth fans so I thought you guys may find this interesting. Hayley Kiyoko tweeted the pic above of her and Bridgit. Along with it she tweeted:So obviously it's hot outside but she said "on set." What else could her and Bridgit be filming together. This got me really excited because it could mean they are filming Lemonade Mouth 2! If they are then the movie could be coming out in early 2012 so we really won't have to wait that long! Let's just hope they are filming Lemonade Mouth 2 because that would be awesome!
